Status: Draft — not yet approved

Draft for owner review

This is a draft prepared alongside the website. It reflects how the site currently works but has not been approved by CareRise Group and is not yet an adopted policy. Highlighted items need business details or decisions. Legal advice is recommended before approval.

Our aim

We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site has not yet been independently audited, so we cannot claim full conformance. [Owner to confirm: arrange an accessibility review before launch, then update this statement]

What we have done

  • A “skip to main content” link and a consistent page structure with headings and landmarks.
  • Navigation, menus, form tabs and forms that can be used with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
  • Text and background colours chosen for strong contrast.
  • Form fields with visible labels, hints, and error messages linked to each field, plus an error summary.
  • Pages that work when zoomed to 200% and on small screens without horizontal scrolling.
  • Animation reduced or switched off when your device is set to reduce motion.
  • Decorative illustrations hidden from screen readers; no text presented as images.

Known limitations

  • The illustrations are decorative and do not carry information.
  • [Owner to confirm: record any issues found in testing]
